Lewis Hamilton’s Wish Comes True as Ferrari Makes SF-25 Adjustmen

Lewis Hamilton’s recent tests with Ferrari have brought encouraging news for the seven-time World Champion. Sky F1’s Ted Kravitz highlighted that the adjustments made to the SF-25, particularly to Hamilton’s seating position, have shown “very positive signs.” The modifications come after concerns over Hamilton’s seating position at Mercedes, where the W14 car’s cockpit was too close to the front, affecting the car’s handling.

Hamilton had previously voiced his frustration over this issue, noting that his seating position significantly impacted the car’s behavior. In particular, he felt that when the cockpit was too forward, it altered the car’s attitude, making it less predictable and harder to drive. This setup problem had been a lingering issue at Mercedes, especially towards the end of his tenure with the team.

However, Kravitz reports that Ferrari’s changes to the SF-25 have made a significant difference, providing Hamilton with a much more comfortable and predictable driving experience. The adjustments to the cockpit position have allowed Hamilton to feel more in control of the car, suggesting that Ferrari’s approach could align better with his driving style.

With these developments, Hamilton seems to be finding his rhythm again, having been impressed with the car’s overall handling and how he is seated within the cockpit. This promising start with Ferrari could potentially mark the beginning of a new chapter in Hamilton’s illustrious career, with his seat position no longer an obstacle to his performance.

As Ferrari continues to fine-tune the SF-25, it appears Hamilton’s long-held wish for a more comfortable and balanced car could soon become a reality, giving him a solid foundation for the upcoming season.
