A 67-year-old man, the driver of the car, was taken to University Hospital Wishaw for treatment to serious injuries.
Following a collision in South Lanarkshire involving a car and a truck pulling a trailer, a man is hospitalized with severe injuries.
Following a two-vehicle collision on the M74 near junction 13 in Abington at approximately 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, police are requesting information.
A blue Kia Niro vehicle and a white Volvo HGV with a trailer were involved in the collision.
The car’s driver, a 67-year-old man, was sent to University Hospital Wishaw for treatment of severe injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
“Enquiries are ongoing, and we are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward,” stated Sergeant Gemma Blackadder.
“We also ask any drivers in the area at the time with dash-cam footage to contact us.
