The Washington Commanders have re-signed wide receiver Noah Brown to a one-year contract worth up to $4.5 million, according to an Associated Press source. This move aims to bolster the team’s receiving corps ahead of the upcoming NFL season.

Brown initially joined the Commanders in August 2024 after his release from the Houston Texans. He quickly made an impact, notably catching a 52-yard Hail Mary pass from rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels to secure a last-second victory against the Chicago Bears in Week 8—a play that has since been dubbed the “Hail Maryland.” Before a kidney injury in Week 13 sidelined him, Brown accumulated 453 yards and one touchdown on 35 receptions.

His return is part of a series of strategic offseason moves by the Commanders, including the acquisition of left tackle Laremy Tunsil and the re-signing of key players like tight end Zach Ertz and linebacker Bobby Wagner. These efforts reflect the team’s commitment to strengthening its roster for the forthcoming season.
