Cody Rhodes reveals lavish WWE WrestleMania gift he bought The Rock, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins

Cody Rhodes, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, recently shared details about the luxurious gifts he presented to his WrestleMania 40 co-main eventers—The Rock, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Paul Heyman. Rhodes commissioned custom Rolex watches, each engraved with the number ’40’ to commemorate their participation in the marquee event. This gesture highlighted the mutual respect among the competitors, despite their intense on-screen rivalries.

Rhodes emphasized the significance of these gifts, stating, “We’re bonded by our wristwear, our timepieces.” He drew parallels between his relationships with fellow wrestlers and the storied rivalry between his father, Dusty Rhodes, and Ric Flair, noting that fierce competition can coexist with deep respect and friendship.

Interestingly, Jey Uso, who had previously teamed with Rhodes and briefly held the WWE Tag Team titles together, was notably absent from the list of recipients. Uso humorously expressed his disappointment, saying, “Hell no I ain’t get no watch, man. Oh, I guess I ain’t that much a superb teammate.”

Adding a personal dimension to the story, Rhodes revealed that after his championship victory at WrestleMania 40, WWE executives Triple H, Nick Khan, and Bruce Prichard gifted him a gold Rolex identical to one his late father had pawned to fund Cody’s acting school. This heartfelt gesture served as a tribute to Dusty Rhodes’ legacy and Cody’s achievement.

As Rhodes prepares to defend his title against John Cena at WrestleMania 41, the camaraderie and respect among WWE’s top stars continue to be a defining aspect of the organization’s narrative.
