In a thrilling qualifying session at the 2025 Miami Grand Prix, Max Verstappen secured pole position with a blistering lap time of 1:26.204. This marks his second consecutive pole in Miami and his third of the season, reinforcing his dominance on the circuit .

Lando Norris of McLaren came in a close second, just 0.065 seconds behind Verstappen, while Mercedes’ rookie sensation Kimi Antonelli impressed by clinching third place. Antonelli’s performance continues to turn heads, especially after his historic sprint pole earlier in the weekend, making him the youngest driver ever to achieve such a feat in any F1 format.

Notably, Lewis Hamilton faced challenges during qualifying, resulting in a 12th-place start. His Ferrari teammate, Charles Leclerc, managed to secure the 8th position .
