“This is just speculation,” Sharpe stated. “We’ve seen when LeBron’s in a situation where he can’t win, he’ll leave. But LA is where LeBron wants to be. What he wants to accomplish off the court is right here.”
Sharpe highlighted James’ extensive off-court ventures in Los Angeles, including his production company and various business interests, as key reasons for his commitment to the city. He also pointed out the significance of James’ family being settled in LA, with his son Bronny attending the University of Southern California.
Adding to the chorus of denials, James’ agent, Rich Paul, labeled the trade rumors as “ridiculous” and “totally false,” reinforcing the narrative that James has no intentions of leaving the Lakers.
