Three people were taken to hospital after a head-on crash in a busy rural road.
Sussex Police were called to the crash underneath the railway bridge in Rocky Lane, between Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath, during rush hour last night.
The road was closed for hours while emergency services worked to clear up debris and treat the casualties.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Police were called to a collision involving two cars in Rocky Lane at around 5.50pm on Wednesday.
“Three people involved in the incident were taken to hospital with minor injuries.”
