Hamilton Signed Last Mercedes Deal Amid Ferrari Talks
Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton reportedly signed his last contract with Mercedes while engaging in discussions with Ferrari, adding new intrigue to his highly anticipated switch to the Italian team for the 2025 season.
Hamilton, who announced in February that he would be leaving Mercedes after more than a decade, had reportedly explored a potential Ferrari move even before committing to his most recent Mercedes contract in 2023. Sources suggest that while Hamilton ultimately extended his deal with Mercedes, Ferrari remained a strong consideration behind the scenes.
