The offensive line is one of the primary positions the Miami Dolphins need to upgrade heading into 2025. In 2025, Miami allowed its quarterbacks to be sacked 42 times, and it will need to improve significantly this season.
Athlon Sports’ Luke Easterling projects the Dolphins to select Alabama lineman Tyler Booker with the No. 13 overall pick in the draft. Booker is an interior lineman who can play both right and left guard.
Booker would join an interior line group that includes Liam Eichenberg, Robert Jones, and Isaiah Wynn. If drafted by the Dolphins, Booker would likely step into the starting left guard spot ahead of Jones.
According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed just two sacks and five quarterback hits in his two years as a starter for the Crimson Tide. That level of production may not be replicated in the NFL, but similar success would be a welcome sight.
lists his production score at 81, which ranked first among all guards. He received a total score of 75, ranking seventh among guards. His overall prospect grade was 6.40, meaning he is projected to “become a good starter within two years,”
If Miami selects Booker, he will provide much-needed protection to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as the Dolphins aim to return to form in 2025.
