According to reports, Douglas Luiz, a midfielder for Aston Villa, and Weston McKennie of Juventus are interested in trading places.

The USMNT star has reportedly been the subject of a knock on the Old Lady’s door by the Villain’s sports director Monchi, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via TuttoJuve.

The 25-year-old recently had what may be considered his best season in Turin since joining the Bianconeri in 2020.

Nevertheless, the Texan’s contract is set to expire in 2025, and the parties have failed to reach a meaningful agreement during their renewal negotiations.

In order to minimise the possibility of losing McKennie for nothing the following year, Juventus may be willing to sell him this summer. It’s also possible that Thiago Motta isn’t too interested in continuing to work for him.

Thus, according to the pink tabloid, the Bianconeri will

The Brazilian midfielder, 26, has been steadily improving since joining the Birmingham-based team in 2019.

Luiz, who has ten goals and just as many assists this season across all competitions, was a key player in his team’s historic Champions League qualifying.

The Brazil international, a product of Vasco Da Gama youth, signed a contract with Manchester City in 2017 after previously playing for Girona.

The midfield player’s Premier League deal will expire in June 2026.

On the road trip to Bologna during the penultimate round of the season, Fagioli made his debut after receiving a ban. After his introduction, he assisted his team in mounting a comeback from 0-3 to 3-3.

Then, in the season’s last match against Monza, the former Cremonese man got off to a great start and was undoubtedly the greatest player on the pitch.

Fagioli was a deep-lying playmaker in his two games under interim coach Paolo Montero’s guidance.

The 23-year-old will therefore be the team’s anchor in front of defence under new Juventus manager Motta, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via IlBianconero.

When Andrea Pirlo was in charge, Fagioli was earlier predicted to play as a Regista, but he was still

It was an incredible accomplishment for Aston Villa under Unai Emery to qualify for the Champions League, and the Midlands team is already planning their summer transfers.

According to HITC, Villa was sure they could beat out rival Premier League teams and Antonio Conte’s Napoli to acquire Mario Hermoso, the defender for Atletico Madrid.

Juventus is very close to hiring highly regarded coach Thiago Motta, and the former Bologna manager may be responsible for several high-profile departures.

With HITC revealing that Liverpool and Newcastle United have spoken to the Italian winger’s representatives, Federico Chiesa has witnessed contract negotiations with the club come to a standstill.

Adrien Rabiot’s contract at Juventus is about to expire this summer, and it appears that he will be leaving the team. His deal in Turin expires in just 12 months.

Another player who might be cut is Weston McKennie, even though he had a successful season under former manager Max Allegri. The American had previously played in the Premier League for Leeds United, a team that had been demoted, but he was unable to leave his mark.

However, since coming back to Turin, McKennie has excelled for Juventus, drawing interest from numerous Premier League teams.

Villa has expressed interest, and the two clubs have communicated about a potential summer transfer, according to HITC sources.

We can also disclose that the two teams did discuss Brazilian player Douglas Luiz, but the Italian powerhouses received very little encouragement to pursue that transaction further.

It is thought that Villa and Luiz’s agents have discussed a new contract at Villa Park, but as of right now, no deals have been made between the two parties.
