Closure on the A1(M) lanes at Doncaster due to emergency
Due to a medical emergency, both lanes on the A1(M) at Doncaster are temporarily closed.
At Warmsworth Junction, there has been an incident on the A1M northbound exit slip.
Between 4.45 and 5 p.m., the area is anticipated to clear, and regular traffic patterns are anticipated during that time.
Drivers are urged to choose an alternate route if at all possible, as there are now very lengthy delays.

A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in Doncaster.
According to South Yorkshire Police, the 56-year-old’s body was found at a house in Shirley Road, Hexthorpe, on Monday at around 17:00 GMT.
The force stated that his death was being investigated as suspicious. Tests on the corpse are scheduled for a later time.
The suspect is still being held by the police. Additional patrols will occur, according to police, “to reassure the community”.
“Efforts are ongoing to locate the man’s next-of-kin and a scene remains in place in Shirley Road as officers conduct further enquiries,” the police said.
