Teenager arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Harrogate

Following a reported stabbing in Kent, a 17-year-old child was admitted to the hospital in “serious but stable” condition. This led to the arrest of an 18-year-old man on suspic ion of attempted murder.

According to Kent Police, it went to reports of violence in Bargrove Road, Maidstone, at about 21:30 BST on Sunday.
The 18-year-old was released on bond pending the completion of additional research.
Two other eighteen-year-olds were also charged with violent disturbance and possession of an offensive weapon.

Derrick Okoh of Brown Street, Gillingham, was accused of having a glass bottle, and Ezekiel Barnes-Naseno of Abbey Drive, Dartford, was suspected of having a knife.
Both men were expected to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, according to Kent Police.
Furthermore, an 18-year-old London resident was arrested on suspicion of providing assistance to criminals and subsequently released on bond while further investigation was carried out.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.

Nimisha Raja, the owner of the company, is constantly observing her employees and equipment while the constant hum of her factory in Sittingbourne, Kent, plays in the background.
She claimed that the current business climate has been “really, really difficult” for all companies.
It has been especially difficult for a business owner in the last five years due to Brexit, the coronavirus outbreak, and growing prices.
Businesses are considering the implications of the political landscape for their future as we approach the general election in 2024.

The company Nim’s Cocktail Garnishes, which produces air-dried fruit and vegetable goods like nibbles and garnishes, was founded by Ms. Raja.
Although she acknowledges that the company had to raise prices “a little bit,” they are still not profitable due to growing energy prices and expenses.
She stated: “If we don’t have money to invest in the business we can’t grow.”
Brexit, according to Ms. Raja, has forced her to cut back on exports, but she still imports fruits that aren’t cultivated in the UK.

Since her company is small, they “don’t have the time or the resources to be dealing with all the documentation, customs clearance,” so she now hires a third-party importer.
The business owner thinks that things are starting to settle and hopes that whoever forms the next government “is feeling as tired with all the problems and says ‘no, let’s just take it easy’.” She does not want “another upheaval once again with a new government.”
