Police close down Kilmarnock road this morning

According to police, a guy was discovered deceased in Kilmarnock this morning.

At approximately six in the morning, officers hurried to the Hurlford Road area of the town in response to a complaint of a person’s worry.

A 62-year-old male was declared deceased at the site, and emergency services were among those who were called to the scene.

Although the death is still being investigated for unknown causes, officials say there is no reason to suspect anything.

“We were called around 6am on Friday, August 25, to a report of a concern for person in the Hurlford Road area of Kilmarnock,” a Police Scotland spokesperson stated.

After emergency personnel arrived, a 62-year-old male was declared deceased on the spot.

Although the death is still being investigated, it is not seen to be suspicious. Investigations are underway to determine the complete circumstances.

Almost four hours after the alarm was raised with rescue teams, the road and adjacent streets are still crawling with cops.

The entire street, has been locked down by police to allow investigations to take place.

A man has been arrested by the police pursuit in Kilmarnock.

A car was pulled over in another area of the city, sparking a police pursuit.

Authorities have verified that, shortly before 3:30 p.m. yesterday, an automobile was stopped on Western Road in the town.

After a police pursuit, a guy was taken into custody in Bellfield’s Cheviot Place, over three and a half miles away.

It was made public yesterday that there was a significant police presence on the Bellfield estate and that officers were being assisted by a force aircraft.

Additionally, a witness saw police pursuing a man through nearby gardens.

Since then, Police Scotland has stated that investigations are still underway and that a 37-year-old male has been arrested in relation to driving offences.

An official from Police Scotland stated: “On Monday, May 13, 2024, at around 2:55 p.m., officers made an attempt to pull over a vehicle on Western Road, Kilmarnock.

“There was a brief chase that ended at Bellfield, Kilmarnock’s Cheviot Place.

“A 37-year-old man was arrested in the vicinity for traffic offences, and investigations are still ongoing.”

Kilmarnock fire accident killed Two and baby in hospital

According to Police Scotland, there were no unusual circumstances.

A house in Scotland caught fire, leaving two adults dead and a baby hospitalised.

At approximately 6:00 p.m. on Monday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the incident on Back Hilton Road in Aberdeen.

According to Police Scotland, the infant was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution but was later released, and the two ladies were declared dead at the scene.

After dispatching two specialised units and seven appliances, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service put out the fire.

As a precaution, nearby residences were evacuated while emergency personnel handled the situation.

“A joint investigation with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is ongoing to establish the full circumstances,” a Police Scotland spokesperson stated.

“But as of right now, there don’t seem to be any suspicious circumstances.”

After the fire was put out at about nine o’clock at night, the route was closed for a while before opening again.
