Macclesfield FC confirm deal talks with talented players

Goalkeepers Max Dearnley and Tom Scott have joined Macclesfield FC, and the club is thrilled to have them.

In the National League and the National League North, both keepers have extensive experience. Since both were in the opposite goal on different occasions throughout the previous season, Silkmen supporters would recognise them to some extent.

While Scott was in the Bradford Park Avenue goal for their triumph at the Leasing.com Stadium back in December, Dearnley was a member of the Buxton team that was eliminated from the Emirates FA Cup by The Silkmen.

Dearnley, who is six feet five, commands a commanding presence in the goal. His background as a player for Buxton and Chorley in the National League North will be helpful in The Silkmen’s push for promotion.

Having been a member of Manchester City’s Academy in the past, Scott has expertise from both the National League and the Northern Premier League, having played for Bradford (Park Avenue) and Nantwich Town. He will also add more experience to our team.

It gives us great pleasure to welcome Tom and Max to the Leasing.com Stadium, and we wish them the best of luck during their tenure with the Club.
