Police shut man dead in seacroft

A man has been killed in Seacroft after a serious assault on Wednesday night.

West Yorkshire Police have launched a murder investigation after a man who suffered a serious assault in the Seacroft area of Leeds last night (June 15) sadly died. Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Officers were called to reports of an assault on Rosgill Drive, Seacroft, Leeds at 9.05pm on Wednesday. Upon attending, they found an unconscious man lying in the middle of the road, aged in his 40s. He was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious head injuries, where he died this afternoon.

Police have reportedly been in the area since 1pm today

Leeds police have announced that a corpse has been discovered at a residence.

According to West Yorkshire Police, a corpse was found at a residence on Swarcliffe Drive, which runs between Seacroft and Scholes. At this time, no other information has been made available.

According to Leeds Live, police have been present in the area since Tuesday at around 1:00 p.m. “A body has been found at an address on Swarcliffe Drive,” a force spokesperson said.

Police make arrests in Seacroft street shooting investigation

A man was shot in the face at Mardale Crescent in Seacroft and was taken to the hospital.
Following a man’s shooting wound to the face in Leeds, two men are being held on suspicion of attempted murder.

The incident on Seacroft’s Mardale Crescent came to light on Tuesday when a 34-year-old man went to the hospital after receiving a bullet wound to his face.

The 32-year-old male who was detained, according to West Yorkshire Police, was being remanded in jail, while the 36-year-old guy had been released while an investigation was ongoing.

Additionally, both males were detained on suspicion of carrying a weapon with the intent to kill in connection with an incident that occurred on May 9 in Hawkins Drive, Woodhouse, and that authorities claimed had ties to the attack in Seacroft.

Following his Tuesday arrest in relation to the events on May 13, a third individual was later freed.
