The reason why police were called to a train station on Tuesday night has been revealed.

There was a “police incident” at Totton station that caused service disruptions.

Several services had delays in the late afternoon and early evening.

Since then, British Transport Police officers have stated that the response was driven by welfare concerns.

According to a spokesman, officers were called to the Totton railway station on May 28 at 4:24 p.m. due to complaints of possible welfare concerns.

57 Years Old Man killed in crash on A326 near Totton today

Following a collision between a Peugeot and an HGV on a busy route just outside of Totton, a 51-year-old man has passed away.

At 3:16 a.m., police officers raced to the scene of an accident between a silver Peugeot 107 and a lorry on the A326 near the intersection with Monkton Lane.

For around twelve hours, the road between Fletchwood Road and A35 Hunters Hill was closed in both directions.

The man, a 51-year-old Christchurch resident, who was operating the vehicle, was declared deceased on the spot. Now, his family has been notified.

Around 3:15 p.m., the section of the road between Fletchwood Road and A35 Hunters Hill was reopened.

Police investigating the incident are currently seeking to speak with anyone who witnessed the silver Peugeot, which has a registration plate ending in JHZ, in the early hours of this morning or anyone was passing through the area at around 3.15am, as part of their investigation.

According to a police spokeswoman: “We are specifically requesting that anyone living in the Totton and New Milton areas check any CCTV, dash cam or Ring doorbell footage for any reports of seeing a car that fits this description.

“If you have any information, please call 101 and mention reference 44240247966. As an alternative, you can submit information online.”

Police close road after two killed in Totton

After his vehicle collided with a lorry in Hampshire, the man who was driving died.

At approximately 03:15 BST on Thursday, the 51-year-old man from Christchurch, Dorset, and his silver Peugeot 107 collided with the lorry on the A326 in Totton at the intersection with Monkton Lane.
His family has been notified.
The A326 was closed between Fletchwood Road and the A35, however it reopened around 15:00.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary stated that they would be happy to talk to anyone who observed a silver Peugeot 107 in Totton and New Milton early on Thursday morning with the licence plate ending in JHZ.
