Two children and a woman were murdered in a horrific crash close to Harrogate. Following a deadly collision yesterday (Wednesday) close to South Stainley, a woman and two children have passed away. Following the incident on the A61 between South Stainley and Ripley at approximately 2:20 pm, police are requesting dashcam footage and witnesses. There was a double-decker bus, a blue Toyota Aygo,

and a silver Vauxhall Meriva involved. The bus was moving in the opposite direction from the Vauxhall and Toyota, which were heading south towards Ripley. Sadly, after the crash, the three people inside the Vauxhall Meriva—a six-year-old boy, a teenage girl, and a woman in her 30s—all passed away. They have notified and are receiving specialized support from their next of kin.

The driver of the bus was taken to hospital with leg injuries, some of the bus passengers sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital, and the two people in the Toyota were not injured.
