Due to a recent poor sequence of results, Red Bull is presently behind McLaren in the race for the F1 constructors’ championship.

Max Verstappen, a three-time champion, has urged Red Bull to launch a “collective” effort to get back to the head of the Formula One grid.

Red Bull has struggled recently and has not finished on the F1 podium at the last eight grand prix, despite starting the season well with five race wins in the first seven rounds.

McLaren now holds a 41-point advantage over Red Bull in the constructors’ championship.

Red Bull has acknowledged that important players Adrian Newey and Jonathan Wheatley are leaving this year, but Verstappen emphasised that Red Bull benefits from the input of many people.

Verstappen said to Autosport, “In the end, it takes more than just two or three people to make the difference.” It’s all about the group.

“The most important thing is that everyone contribute and perform well in their roles.”

Some significant Red Bull players have left the company, but others, like Pierre Wache and Gianpiero Lambiase, have stayed on longer.

Verstappen emphasised his close relationship with the former as Red Bull looks for a way to address its recent form problems.

Verstappen said, “It’s very good, Pierre and I talk a lot.” “We always have a meeting when I’m in the factory.

“I like being involved, and he’s highly motivated.” Even while everything is operating very smoothly, the current outcomes aren’t what we’re after. It is our collective responsibility to change it.

“People have proven they know what they’re doing, so I have faith in them.”

“Other teams have excellent people as well, though I don’t believe that’s the current problem. It was time to press the reset button and head in a different direction because we had just made a mistaken turn.

Max Verstappen won his third Formula One championship a year ago, and he still had six grand prix left. Verstappen is now fighting this year, and Red Bull is under pressure to give him a car so he can keep the title. Ahead of the final six races, join Ian, Sam, and Nick of RacingNews365 as they talk about this and other topics.
