Following Michail Antonio’s vehicle accident yesterday (Saturday, December 7), West Ham has issued a statement.
The striker was taken to a Central London hospital by paramedics after being involved in an accident in Epping, Essex. He is thankfully in a stable condition, conscious, and speaking with physicians, according to confirmation from his East London club.
Following a traffic collision this afternoon in the Essex region, West Ham United can confirm that Michail Antonio is in a stable condition, the club announced last night.
Michael is presently being closely monitored at a hospital in central London and is conscious and able to communicate.
We respectfully request that everyone respect Michail and his family’s privacy at this trying time.
The Club will provide an additional update when it is appropriate, but it will not speak further tonight.
