In connection with the hunt for a man who has been missing for nearly four months, a body has been discovered in York’s River Ouse.
On Saturday, February 24, Seth Martin, 31, a resident of York but originally from Spain, was reported missing.
According to North Yorkshire Police, a corpse was discovered in the river close to Landing Lane on Sunday just after 15:15 BST.
Formal identification has not yet occurred, but Mr. Martin’s family has been notified, according to a spokeswoman.
They also stated that a case will be produced for the coroner and that the death is not currently being investigated as suspicious.
A spokesman thanks everyone who replied to requests for information about Mr. Martin.
“Our thoughts at this time are with Seth’s family and friends,” they added.
